Objectives
The primary objective of Building Good Citizens for Texas is:
"To help students know, care about and act upon core ethical values."
Making this prime objective a habit by instilling the core values consistently, throughout the entire day, will help cement these core values and guide the students' daily behavior.
Other objectives are to:
Promote positive character traits in all students
Model effective decision-making for students
Promote good citizenship in all activities, including participating in community service
Encourage families, businesses and communities to partner with schools in promoting character education
To guide today's students to become tomorrow's ethical leaders
